About TC Pets
My name is Tess Cooper, and I am the owner of TC Pets.

TC Pets began in 2019, when I started my own dog walking company, after walking for another company in Manchester for a little over a year. While I loved walking all the dogs I met there, the travel made the expenses cost almost as much as I was earning.
So it was with a heavy heart, but a promise of new furry friends that I set out on my own closer to home. I now operate in the South Manchester, and Cheshire East areas, for in person work. But I also offer online consultations and training sessions for those who are out of area, but want to learn with me.

I have attended several courses on Canine Behaviour, and Canine First Aid, before studying for a Level 4 Diploma in Canine Behaviour and Dog Training, which I completed in Early Summer 2021.
In 2024 I completed the Victoria Stillwell Academy's In Person Dog Trainer Course. And I continue to grow my knowledge and skills whenever I can.

I have a particular passion for rescued animals, and making a happy home for both humans and pets alike.
My dog Casper is originally from Romania, and we found him at Manchester Dogs Home. I am proud to say he has a spoiled life, going on TC Pets group walks, playing and sniffing with his many doggy friends, and getting lots of fuss and cuddles at home. It is my hope that through TC Pets Training, I can help other dogs and families have a similar loving relationship.

"Barney has been walking with Tess for a few years. He is a nervous little dog but Tess is endlessly patient with him. He loves to go out, have a sniff and see the world with her. Tess came highly recommended by a good friend and I can see why. She is super flexible, accommodating last minute changes when ever she can. She even posts picture updates of her walk which is lovely to see!"

“Tess is everything you could want in a dog walker. She is very reliable and trustworthy, always putting the dogs welfare first. Our terriers have both behavioural issues & dietary restrictions which she takes calmly in her stride. Both dogs absolutely love her and really look forward to her walking them. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”
